Welcome to our small home business named “Above Creations”. We have been in this business since 2016. We craft and produce all of our products out of our home. Since all of our products are completed at our private home, we do not have a physical store front. That is why we have this website! On here you can see our current for sale product items under the “shop” menu which you can order, pay and have shipped to your payment address. If you purchase a product and wish to save on shipping costs, there is a FREE pickup option at checkout, which if your payment address is within a 25 mile radius of Dublin, Georgia, we can deliver for FREE (contact us after selecting the free local pickup). If you wish to pickup the product, you must coordinate with us for a public meeting. We also plan to attend various local business flea markets and vendor sales. Because of the covid-19, we haven’t attended any since the spring of 2020. But now we are looking forward to getting back to setting up a table at some of them.
What We Do:
We specialize in a robust line of custom wood crafting products. Most items are designed by us, crafted by hand, but we do use expensive software and tools to make most products. There is such a wide variety of custom craft products that it would be too much to list here. It would be best to visit our store (menu option: Shop) and read through our blog articles in which we describe some products we have made, or currently working on; plus new products that we are proto typing. Besides customer custom request, we acquire our product and craft ideas from a variety of sources, but there are many wood crafting websites and blogs online that anyone is welcome to research.
As most of our custom products are wood, and we work from our private home, we do not hold a large inventory of material. Therefore a majority of any custom products must have the wood ordered and shipped to us before we can start any work. Of course, if the project is designed for simple Pine, Poplar, Red Cedar, or Oak, the local box stores carry these items and it would be a faster turn-around-time. Remember, some products require certain material and can’t use others. An example is a custom Carving/Cutting board. They can only be made with a certain variety of exotic and hard wood such as Maple, Walnut, Birch, Hickory, Purpleheart, Padauk to name a few. These exotic woods are not available to us locally. They must be ordered and shipped to us.
So, if you have an idea or a need of a custom wood craft project, please use our Contact Us form and briefly tell us what your needs or thoughts are, and we will contact you for a personal consultation on design, craft, costs, and estimates. Remember, we are a small business with no employee or staff. So, estimate of time will be dependent on other projects currently being worked or in the que, ordering material and other factors that could delay the finished product. Lastly, custom products at the request of the customer will have a written contract, which we would require a percent down of the total estimate before any work can start. Terms of the rest of the contract can be negotiated upon agreement, signature, and payment.
Lastly, if you wish to register with our website, just select the [My Account] page at the top menu and you can login or register from there. Why register? Currently, it is way to store your personal data so that in the future, if you wish to purchase something from us or you wish to do business with us in any way, you won’t have to register then. Also, in the future, you will need to be a registered customer to access certain “customer only” content on this website. Only registered users will be able to see it and access it.
